 Our successful and well established collaboration has a firm commitment and shared vision to create real and diverse high quality learning opportunities for young people enabling them to achieve and realise their full potential. The partnership is led and managed by a Director of 14-19 learning whose role is to implement the strategic developments for the area, in line with the County strategy.
The 11 specialist schools of Campion, Caroline Chisholm, Chenderit, Danetre, Guilsborough, Kingsbrook, Magdalen, Moulton, Roade, Sponne and William Parker and the two local FE providers of Northampton College and Moulton College have worked collaboratively for over 10 years. The collaboration strives to be highly effective, good value for money and an example of good practice.

The partnership has created a new working culture involving joint teacher planning, appropriate commonality of timetables, the production of support materials and a joined up approach to CPD. This structure gives transparent communication channels & a commitment to e-learning. The partnership has a history of IFP success, including BtECs, NVQs and Apprenticeships. SWAN has employed a full time Business Engagement Manager to secure a planned approach to working with new & existing business partners.
